Peng Lianzhong, alias and ink, was born in June 1956 in Lezhi County, Sichuan. He has been a senior faculty member of the Chinese calligraphy and painting talent research center, a member of the World Association of calligraphers and calligraphers, a member of the Chinese and Korean art expert committee, a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association and a national first class book master. In 2004, he went to Yihai Pavilion, Jinghong, Yunnan, to teach calligraphy.

少时酷爱习字，曾得本地书法前辈的指导初入书法之门。为求深达，先后进修于上海、贵州艺术专修学校及天津茂林书法学院等，得良师指导，勤习苦研书艺大进。

其书法作品多次参加国内外展赛，荣获精品奖、二等奖、国际银奖、国际金奖。部分作品被有关部门和国内外书法爱好者收藏。作品传略入编《中国古今书画家福寿作品大典》、《世界当代书画家篆刻家大词典》、《中国国际书画家年鉴》、《世界当代著名书画家真迹博览大典》、《中韩当代书画家大辞典》、《当代中国著名书画篆刻家润格博览》、《国际现代名家教授大画册》等多部典著。被授予世界书画艺术名人、中国国际艺术名人、国际银奖艺术家、国际金奖艺术家、优秀园丁、优秀辅导教师、优秀伯乐奖、墨彩名师奖、优秀书法教师、中国文艺功勋人物、十八大文艺代表人物等称号。
